Our inventory manager wins the Holiday raffle
The holiday season is just a few days away. Coreio has decided to go all out for the festive season. We have decorated our reception area in the seasonal spirit. And we kicked off the season with our first Coreio holiday party, an Enchanted Holiday Fairytale.
That evening had great food, an excellent DJ, a fabulous violinist, prizes and more. We all sat with our friends, as the owners toasted the night.

Why is this annual tradition so successful? One of our social committee members, Cassandra, speculates: “The social committee does a great job of keeping details a surprise until they take place at the event.” Ivet, another committee member adds the reason the party is so successful is because: “employees, who wish to spend some time after work, kick back with co-workers and meet people we don’t get to see regularly.”
What does the social committee hope our team will get out of the holiday party? Ivet suggests, “They come out of the party with a happy demeanor and a full belly.” Cassandra agrees, “I hope employees will enjoy every aspect of what we planned.”
The Coreio team comes together for a holiday potluck
Following that Enchanted Fairytale theme night, we continued with another tradition at Coreio: the Holiday Potluck. This potluck communicates community. One of the organizers, Lisa, put it simply, “It’s a way of getting together for lunch to celebrate the holiday season. Everyone has a good time and just simply looks forward to it year after year. It’s about the food, the people and the laughs we share.”

A new tradition to get into the holiday spirit is our Ugly Sweater Party. We believe this will support our endeavor of bringing a more casual homey feel. The social committee feels this event will help get employees excited for the upcoming holiday season. When it comes to holidays, it’s about coming together and this dress down day gets us in the mood to sit around the fire, sipping cocoa and eggnog.
